PROSPERA CREDIT UNION HELPS STUDENTS SUCCEED BY INVESTING IN JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAMS
Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce that Prospera Credit Union has donated $10,000 in support of JABC business education programs.
As a first time supporter, Prospera Credit Union has demonstrated their commitment to business education for the youth in British Columbia. This generous contribution will specifically go towards the ‘Economics for Success’ programs in the Okanagan and the Fraser Valley. This program encourages grade 9 and 10 students to reflect on the advantages of remaining in school to acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed for long-term career success.
Junior Achievement would like to thank Prospera Credit Union for their considerable support. JABC is committed to inspiring and motivating BC’s children and youth to take an active role in their future through business education. To accomplish this goal, Junior Achievement works in partnership with dedicated donors, business volunteers, educators and the greater community to deliver programs to students in grades 5 – 12. Prospera Credit Union’s contribution this year will help guarantee that BC communities continue to have access to Junior Achievement programs.
