Diversity in Action
Diversity in Action is an interactive program developed by Junior Achievement. Students in grades 7-9 learn the value of diversity and how it contributes to improving morale, creativity, teamwork and productivity. They are encouraged to share perspectives on the various cultural and social challenges faced each day.
Specially trained business volunteer(s) engage students in experiential learning activities that help develop positive attitudes toward diversity and assist with their entry into the workforce. Participants realize the advantages a mix of age, gender, ability, cultural behaviour and sexual orientation (optional module) contribute to our community and the workplace.

• Interact with specially trained and positive role models
• Practice discussion and cooperation as a means to achieving goals
